This week the Hog Roast Hertingfordbury had the pleasure of catering for the wonderful Lorna and Darryl as the two tied the knot and celebrated their special day surrounded by friends, family, and the best wedding catering in Hertfordshire!
It has been jour joy for three decades to share so many special moments with our wedding customers. Every single wedding event is a gift for our team; in what other job role can you so regularly be surrounded by love and joy with some of the most significant memories in life being made right there in front of you. And not only that, you as the caterer are contributing to them too; helping to shape and improve them with stylish dining experiences and caring service. Through the summer we were lucky enough to be remined of that utmost privilege just about every week, as the Hog Roast Hertingfordbury were spending most weekends rushing around the county to weddings all over.
Coming into the autumn and that rush slows down somewhat, but that just means we have even more time to truly enjoy and parse through the joy of catering for weddings like this one at Maybury Place, with Lorna and Darryl. Their service was a delight and the venue was looking just as splendid as the bride and groom themselves, along with all 80 of their most glamourous guests. In the midst of such an excellent atmosphere, the Hog Roast Hertingfordbury team were hard at work cooking up our sizzling southern slow roast. For a colder autumn weekend, the day needed just a little bit of heating up, which is good as our southern slow roast does that and then some. With our own spice rubs and barbecue marinades, our Texas style beef brisket, Cajun spiced chicken, and minted lamb mains full of flavour and tender meatiness, with a good texturing adding to the spice and smokiness of each. Guests could enjoy their meats along with our extra hot sauces, smoky and tangy barbecue sauces, cooling mac and cheese, crunchy slaw, green leaf salad, and roasted new potatoes.
