Hog Roast Catering
Where are you based do you hog roast in Stevenage?
We are a hog roast caterer based in Stevenage and we provide hog roasts throughout Hertfordshire. There is no extra charge depending on location. Please fill in our enquiry form and we will send you a competitive quote for your hog roast catering in Hertfordshire.
Is it possible to hire a machine or get you to cook our own pig as we are farmers?
Yes we hire out hog roast machines which can be delivered and collected to your party. Or if you would like we can cook your pig using one of our machines. The maximum size of pig is 90 kilos.
Can we have a choice of spit roast? Spit roast lamb and spit roast pig in Potters Bar?
Yes we can provide a choice of meats but it does obviously cost more as it will require a second spit roast machine and possibly a larger vehicle. We can spit roast lots of different types of meat, beef, turkey, chicken etc. offering a choice of meats and also some salads can really help to make a simple hog roast into a special event.
How many people can we invite to our hog roast party in Watford?
The number of guests does not matter any number from 10 – 1000 can be catered for. A simple pig in a bun can feed up to 200 people but we can use extra legs of pork or do another hog roast to feed extra people. We also do a smaller machine for more intimate gatherings.
Do you provide deserts to accompany the hog roast catering.
Yes we can provide deserts to accompany some of our menus anything from menu 3 onwards. These can be simple apple pie or cheese cake on a disposable plate or more involved substantial deserts such as a Vacherie of strawberries.
Can a hog roast be held indoors?
Yes. Although many people chose an outdoor hog roast in Hertford during the summer months this is not always ideal in the harsh Hertford winter British weather! During the colder months most of our customers opt for an indoor hog roast. We can do your hog roast catering anywhere you chose all we need is a well ventilated space.
Do you use free range pigs?
Yes. If the customer wishes to have only free range meat then this can be arranged no problem. Please just ask member of our sales team when making your enquiry
What areas do you cover?
We cover the whole of Hertfordshire and surrounding areas.
Can you cater for vegetarians or other special dietary needs?
Yes. We offer a tasty range of meat free alternatives for vegetarians and can also design dishes for vegans or special dietary needs. Please just ask and this can be arranged.
Do you offer alternatives to pork?
Yes. We have a wide range of tasty meats to chose from. Lamb, beef, chicken and turkey to name just a few, as well as delicious BBQ snacks. If you wish you can have the choice of more than one meat on the day.
Can you provide extra dishes as well as the hog roast?
Yes. We can provide canapés, starters, side dishes and deserts to go with your hog roast. Take a look at our sample menus and see what we have on offer
Can I adapt the sample menus?
Of Course. Ever customer is different and has their own ideas about the perfect party feast so we are more than happy to work with you to create your ideal menu.
Can you provide serving staff?
Yes. Whatever service you require we can arrange it for you. We can provide staff to serve canapés or reception drinks, we can arrange for waiters or waitresses if you have chosen a sit down meal and of course our staff will always deal with clearing away our rubbish off site.
What is included in the final quote?
The final quote will include a fully trained spitting pig chef and catering assistant, cutlery, crockery, napkins and the serving staff that you require.
What type of events can you cater for?
