The hog was ready for about 4:30 pm and after the welcome speech in the marquee we had a large queue within seconds. The buns were loaded with the succulent roasted pork, apple sauce and stuffing and of course the most important part……. CRACKLING……perfectly golden brown and crispy.
Most people came back for seconds and third helpings and the whole hog was devoured….. Even the ribs which we had coated with a BBQ sauce with a touch of JD.
