Grace and her friendship group all love to be creative and have lots of arty hobbies between them. When they get together, they usually end up doing something artistic and they have enjoyed all sorts of activities in the past, including pottery painting, craft workshops, and art fairs. This February, she is inviting the group to her home in Hertfordshire and is hosting a crafty night in with lots of things to do, plenty of wine to go around, and a great meal from Hog Roast Hitchin. For the menu, our catering managers Darren and Lyndsey are planning on serving a classic hog roast, complete with a wide selection of side dishes to create a varied and delicious evening meal.
On the day of the gathering, the Hog Roast Hitchin team arrived at Grace’s home in the morning to ensure that we had plenty of time to prepare all of our dishes on-site. Once the hog had slow-roasted to perfection, the succulent pork was expertly carved and accompanied by sage and onion stuffing, homemade applesauce, and crispy crackling. We also served roasted baby potatoes, roasted vegetables, and homemade gravy, to create a hearty and filling meal overall. Our catering was a great addition to the gathering since it allowed everyone to make the most of the evening without needing to worry about the food since it was all taken care of by our team!
