Well it’s officially here. We’re beyond Halloween and Bonfire Night, so we can officially call it – it’s time to start getting excited for Christmas! You may say we’re jumping the gun since it isn’t even December yet, but as soon as those nights start drawing in, the temperatures start to drop, and we see the Christmas lights beginning to get set up on the high street, we as at Hog Roast Hertfordshire have to start calling it Christmas.
It’s one of our busiest and most thrilling periods of the year, so course we’re excited here at Hog Roast Hertfordshire. We have to get ourselves ready well in advance, because come the latter end of November and into December, each day of festive events comes thick and fast. We’ve already been contacted by so many of you out in Hertfordshire that once again want a bit of Darren and Lyndsey’s festive magic for your Christmas celebrations, both at work and at home with friends and family. Well you know us – we’re always more than happy to join for some festive fun!
But that means we have to prep ourselves nice and early, which is why we’ve been conducting our Winter Refresher Training here at the Hog Roast Hertfordshire offices. You might be asking yourself: “but Darren and Lyndsey, surely you two don’t need extra training at this stage?”. Wrong! It’s never too late to keep on learning and keep yourself on your toes. It pays dividends each year to conduct this training, if even just to get the entire team into the festive spirit. Sure, we might be very well experienced, but even we enjoy a good refresh from time to time just to make sure our festive culinary skills are still in good shape. We spend all year long cooking our other menus and not our festive one, so we always just want to make sure that we’re still making the best Christmas turkeys we can! After all, we owe it to our many, many, customers to be at our very best come their Christmas events. It’s the best gift we can give them!
