Earlier this year, Hog Roast Standon was contacted by Lorraine to provide catering at an event she is hosting this summer. Lorraine manages a local community centre and is often tasked with coming up with events to keep children busy during the school holidays. For the upcoming event, there will be plenty of arts and crafts activities, as well as a selection of outdoor sports and mini-games to let the children burn off some energy. Additionally, Hog Roast Standon has been tasked with providing our Gourmet BBQ menu at the event, which is sure to go down a treat! Overall, it sounds like this event will have plenty for everyone to enjoy, including enough activities to appeal to every child.

In preparation for this event, the Hog Roast Standon team will arrive at the venue in the morning and set up our catering station outside. We will begin by preparing the main dishes, including succulent pork sausages, juicy British beef burgers, halloumi and vegetable skewers, marinated chicken kebabs, and BBQ spareribs. These dishes will be served in fresh bread rolls, with a gluten-free option also on offer. Additionally, we will be serving homemade chips, sweet potato fries, gourmet coleslaw, corn cobettes, a green leaf salad, and a Caesar salad.
