At Hog Roast Knebworth, we are renowned for our hands-on catering option which allows our clients to put their feet up and relax with a glass of the good stuff while we take care of the rest. But did you also know that we regularly hire out our state of the art cooking appliances so you can whip up your very own gourmet hog roast feast? That’s right, and you too can get your hands on our professional equipment which our team can teach you how to use well in advance of your special occasion!
During these uncertain times, Hog Roast Knebworth has witnessed a growing number in these types of bookings, and Matthew was the latest client to wield the spit fork. With an intimate group of 24 people set to attend a small gathering at Walkern’s historical Rooks Nest Farm, the client was keen to impress his family and friends with his cooking skills. He couldn’t have come to a better place!
We know that cooking for the whole family can be a stressful task, especially if there’s a variety of dietary requirements to cater to, but with our equipment, it will feel like a breeze. Still, not wanting to add too much to his plate (sorry, we couldn’t resist), Matthew had opted for a simple hire and pig package. This includes one of our expert spit-roasting machines and gas canister, along with enough food to feed a small army.
Matthew was so relieved to hear about our rental option, which made him feel much more comfortable about going ahead with the event. So, in the early hours, before the party was set to begin our Hog Roast Knebworth catering manager, Steve dropped off one of our smaller-sized pigs along with all the ingredients the client needed to whip up a delicious spread which included mixed salad, coleslaw, gluten-free rolls and wraps along with some of our environmentally friendly wooden crockery and cutlery.
Talking to Matthew the following day while collecting the HogMaster and supplies, the client expressed how much he and his family had enjoyed the previous evening, and they couldn’t believe how easy it had been to prepare the feast.
