For Helen and Sam’s wedding day, the couple have organised their perfect celebration, complete with a pampering morning for the wedding party, a beautiful ceremony, and an evening of brilliant entertainment. Since it is sure to be a long day requiring a lot of energy, it was important to find a catering team that could provide the perfect menu for the occasion. At Hog Roast Baldock, all of our menus can be customised to suit any needs, so we were more than happy to get involved! We planned a perfect day of catering, starting with a formal lunch for the guests after the ceremony and a casual yet delicious evening buffet.
Our catering will begin with three delicious courses for the lunchtime menu, starting with a delicious salmon dish. This will be a light and elegant way to begin the catering, leaving plenty of room for the hearty main meal. We will next be serving our classic slow-roasted hog, which will be accompanied by the traditional trimmings, as well as roasted baby potatoes and seasonal vegetables. Finally, the guests can enjoy sticky toffee pudding or a fresh fruit salad for dessert.
Later in the evening, with the reception in full swing, the Hog Roast Baldock team will serve a casual buffet menu for the guests to enjoy. The menu will include any remaining slow-roasted pork, as well as succulent pork sausages and veggie sausages. These dishes will be served in fresh bread rolls alongside homemade chips and a variety of salad dishes, to create an incredibly tasty evening meal.
