There’s nothing quite like a hog roast to celebrate a milestone, and when award-winning load cell manufacturing company Crosby Straightpoint acquired a Japanese firm, effectively doubling the size of their business, purchasing manager, Lauren, was tasked with planning an epic corporate event to mark the occasion.
With an unwavering commitment to excellence, Lauren turned to our experts at Hog Roast West Hyde for help. The mission was clear: to create an event that would be etched in the memories of the 45 Straightpoint staff forever.
Catering manager, Darren, was in charge of this booking, and, earlier this month, he lovingly prepared a full-size pig for the guests. Once slow-cooked to perfection, the succulent meat was carved and served on gluten-free rolls and wraps, garnished with crisp crackling, sage and onion stuffing, and finalised with a dollop of luscious applesauce. Just thinking about it is enough to make anyone’s mouth water! This savoury treat was an instant hit, and the guests couldn’t get enough of it.
But it wasn’t just the meat lovers who fell head over heels for Hog Roast West Hyde! Having thoughtfully included grilled vegetable and halloumi skewers on the menu, the vegetarian and vegan guests were in their element as well. These skewers provided a medley of flavours and textures that delighted every palate and proved that meat-free options can be just as tasty as their alternative.
Hog Roast West Hyde’s culinary mastermind, Darren, really worked his magic at this event. His culinary prowess shone through in every dish, leaving the guests raving about the unforgettable flavours and impeccable presentation.
