This summer, Hog Roast Little Hadham had the pleasure of catering for David Wilson Homes’ annual staff party, a wonderful event dedicated to celebrating the hard work of their team. We were thrilled to provide our delicious hog roast, complete with crispy crackling and our new herb potatoes, which needless to say, went down a storm with those in attendance. The atmosphere at the party was so much fun, filled with laughter and chatter as colleagues mingled and celebrated their collective achievements over the past 12 months.
The menu for the day consisted of our delicious hog roast, which was cooked slowly on the spit and became the centrepiece for the day. Crispy crackling added that perfect crunch, creating a delightful contrast to the tender, juicy meat. We served it alongside herb potatoes which were a huge hit with our guests alongside our homemade apple sauce and delectable coleslaw.
Our catering service took place right on site, providing a seamless experience for the staff at David Wilson Homes. By bringing the feast directly to them, we aimed to offer a well-deserved respite from their busy duties where they could relax and tuck into their lunch. Thanks to our marquee, we were well-prepared for the unpredictable British weather, and were on hand from the very start of the day until the end of the event, setting up, cooking and cleaning down, so that employees at the company didn’t have to worry about organisation.
