Hog Roast Royston took a trip to the beach last week – but it wasn’t to build sandcastles or surf the waves! Instead, we had been hired by birthday girl, Emma, who needed our help to throw an unforgettable party for her special day.
Hoping to round off her 20s in style, the client had invited a group of her closest friends and relatives to the seaside location, and it was our job to come up with an insanely good meal to feed them all! But having catered for plenty of similar events in the past, our team remained confident in their abilities. So, after learning more about the client’s vision for the event, our Hog Roast Royston catering manager suggested the southern slow roast menu for the occasion. Emma loved the sound of the American soul-food-inspired feast so much that she immediately agreed to have us serve it at the party!
Having Hog Roast Royston on hand to help her through every step of the booking process, made the chore of planning the event so much easier for Emma, who couldn’t wait to see the look on her guests’ faces when presented with one of our famous spreads. Fortunately for the client, the weeks before her 30th birthday celebrations went in fast!
To ensure the feast would be ready in time for the arrival of Emma and her guests, the Hog Roast Royston catering crew arrived at the beach with a little over five hours to spare. This time frame gave them more than enough room to effortlessly cook up the banquet which included our best-loved meat options of Texan 24 hour beef brisket, cajun spiced whole roast chickens, fall off the bone Louisiana sticky pork ribs, and the vegan-friendly alternative of BBQ pulled jackfruit wraps ahead of the serving time. Side options were also included on the menu, and for this occasion, Emma had asked for the mac and cheese, Memphis style crunchy coleslaw, melted cheese smothered fries and freshly tossed green leaf salad.
The sun was just starting to set when Emma and the guests arrived to kickstart the celebrations, and right on queue, the Hog Roast Royston team began serving up the mouth-watering feast!
