We set out this weekend in our lovely new van and about time too we thought! Our other van was far too small and it was quite a struggle getting our machines in and out and we thought it time to indulge in a nice big van as to be honest we had done very well just recently and our profits were right up. Hog Roast Datchworth catering took place for a summer fate and these are becoming more and more popular and we have already attended a few these past few weeks. Couldn’t be prouder of The menu looked so good too succulent pork with crunchy crackling and apple sauce, chicken, stuffing and we decided to get the bbq going too and rustle up a few hundred burgers and sausages. Yummy food the smell was amazing as the machines were in full swing and our waiting staff chatted to guests as they served each one with a monster meat sandwich a meal in one hot succulent melt in the mouth meat, an absolute delicacy. There were lots going on there was a vegetable show with an array of fresh huge vegetables all getting judged on what is the best veg of the day, flowers were also being judges and the sight was adorable with a wonderful rainbow of colour. The entertainment was splendid there were a group of Irish dancers all dancing around merrily and also a talent show with guests performing doing there party pieces, we had such a lovely day and met some really nice people and also received two firm bookings for the next few months one for a birthday and one for a christening. At the end of the day we received a huge basket of vegetables from the organisers and we were really touched by the very kind gesture to be honest the Datchworth vegetables looked too good to eat! Setting back home in or shiny new van and the sun still shining bright and we all chatted about the wonderful day and our waitresses wishing that they had entered the talent show as they are budding singers at heart!
